About Christian
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), I am passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges so they can build meaningful, fulfilling lives and become the best versions of themselves. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that lasting change is possible for everyone.
With over eight years of personal recovery experience, I bring both professional training and a deep understanding of the recovery process to my work. I recognize the courage it takes to seek help and the challenges that can arise along the journey. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and motivated to grow.
I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and address the underlying factors contributing to emotional distress and substance use. I believe that healing involves more than simply eliminating symptoms — it involves building self-awareness, strengthening relationships, discovering purpose, and creating a life worth living.
Throughout my work, I strive to meet clients where they are while encouraging them to move toward their goals with confidence and self-compassion. Whether someone is navigating early recovery, managing anxiety or depression, processing trauma, or seeking greater personal growth, I am committed to supporting them every step of the way.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, staying active in the gym, and taking advantage of Southern California's beautiful beaches. These activities help me maintain balance, stay connected to my own wellness, and bring my best self to the people I serve.
I am honored to be part of each client's recovery journey and believe that meaningful transformation is possible with the right support, dedication, and hope.
